saladMore Healthy Options
We have something new in our deli: large and small fresh prepared salads. Now when you have to grab a quick lunch but don't want a carb-filled sandwich, reach for one of our prepared fresh salads. We can also make your favorite sandwich into a salad for a healthier version of what you crave.

Winter Produce–Right now we are seeing the down side for bell peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, and squash; an extended Florida freeze is keeping product supply low and prices high. So far we've been pretty lucky, seeing really low prices on things like winter berries, lettuce, tomatoes, and citrus products from Florida and California.

Current Market Report

Lettuce–Supply is strong and now is a good time to promote healthy green lettuces. We've recently had good prices on Romaine Hearts and this week we have Iceberg lettuce on special. While the supply is good, the market is somewhat weak, so expect good prices on a variety of lettuces over the coming weeks.

blueberriesBerries–An unexpected long freeze in Florida as well as a cooling period in Central Mexico is causing strawberries prices to fluctuate; Chilean blueberries are flooding the market right now; showing beautiful blue color, good crunch and sweetness.

navel_orangesCitrus–High volume on California and Florida Navel oranges and tangerines are keeping prices low. This week we also have lovely pink grapefruit in good supply and on special.

red_delicious_apples Local Orchard Harvest– We still have plenty of local apples on special; this week we have Stayman, Rome, or Granny Smith or Golden Delicious apples. The farmers at Crown orchards bring us these popular favorites.
